CONTESTANT AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned, hereby apply for the entry into the Miss Coastal Vietnam – Global Pageant (also known as “MCVG”) : 2015 (Year), and if accepted, I understand that I agree to all rules and regulations pertaining to the “MCVG”. The undersigned further agrees to participate in all functions and promotional activities conducted by and managed under the officers of the “MCVG” (including, but not limited to: rehearsals, photo and video sessions, and promotional activities scheduled by the (“MCVG”).
2. Indemnity. I agree to indemnify “MCVG” and its officers, directors, organization leaders, and agents against any liability claim or damage, asserted by third parties, arising out of the Event under or in connection with this Agreement; provided, however, that this indemnity shall not extend to any liability to the extent attributable solely to the negligence of the Parties.
3. Severability. The parties hereto agree that if any paragraph, section, sentence, clause, or phrase contained in this Agreement, shall become illegal, null or void, or against public policy, for any reason, or shall be held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be incapable of being constructed or limited in a manner to make it enforceable, or is otherwise held by such court to be illegal, null or void, or against public policy, the remaining paragraphs, sections, sentences, clauses, or phrases contained in this Agreement shall not be affected thereby.
4. Entire Agreement. This Agreement and the integrated Agreement to the Rules and Requirements constitutes the entire agreement between the parties pertaining to its subject matter and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations and understandings of the parties. No supplement, modification or amendment of this Agreement shall be binding unless executed in writing by the Parties.
AGREEMENT TO THE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
The parties agree that this contract shall be binding to the benefit of the respective parties, legal representatives, successors and assigns.
The contestant accepts her title as Miss Coastal Vietnam – Global contestant and hereby agrees to such contract.
I further agree to release “MCVG”, and any and all persons connected thereto such as its employees, officers, volunteers, sponsors, hosts, contractors, agents, including persons of any other positions supported the “MCVG” free and harmless from all claims, responsibilities, and liabilities for loss, damages, or injuries that are suffered by me or my participation from any cause whatsoever during my involvement in any and all activities relating to the “MCVG”.
I also certify that I meet all enrollment requirements set forth in the above and following are true and correct to my understanding, including but not limited to:
I am a Female [Must be born a female];
I am between the age of 15-27 years old on July 1st 2015, minimum height of 5 Feet 2 Inches (1m60);
I am Single, never been married, will remain single during the reign of her court, and never been pregnant;
I am a naturally born female of Vietnamese ethnicity or, minimally one quarter (25%) Vietnamese ethnicity.
I must have never been arrested nor convicted of any crime or misdemeanor;
I must have never modeled for nude photography or any sexually explicit materials in any other forms of media not mentioned;
I must adhere to the guideline, philosophy, principle, mission, instruction, and activities set forth by “MCVG”.
I understand that proof of the above may be requested for verification at any time.
To the best of my knowledge, I am not aware of having any physiologic or psychological limitation that may hinder or limit my participating in the Event and in its related activities prior, during and after the pageantry.
I also hereby consent to the “MCVG” to use my name, images, photographs, videos, writings, recordings, and artwork obtained from my involvement and all related activities for any and all purposes (including but not limited to: advertising, DVD and internet distribution, marketing, publicity, promotions, profits, and losses) without any obligation for compensation or reimbursement.
I also certify that all the above and following are true and correct and understand that I will be excused from any further participation in the “MCVG” if any of the above and following are found to be not true, or cease to be true at any time during my involvement throughout the “MCVG”. I will also release any and all titles and prizes that have been bequeathed upon me as a result of my involvement during the “MCVG”.
I agree that holding a title from the Event will obligate me to continue to conduct myself with dignity and appropriateness for the duration of the title. I concede that “MCVG” reserves the right to revoke any title granted should I be convicted of any crime of an offensive nature to the public morality.
I further state that the information entered on the Official Contestant Application Form attached hereto is true and correct. I acknowledge that I have fully read and understand this agreement and the rules and regulations set forth herein pertaining to the “MCVG”.
I agree to refrain from publically or privately share the terms, discussions, agreements that are proprietary to “MCVG” – in any format included but not limited to verbal or in writing – other than this application. Any materials pertained to “MCVG” are property of “MCVG” and restricted from sharing without explicit authorization.
